Re-Orient Your Self
A three-module program to
reflect on who you are
and how you want to live.
You might feel like the ground is shifting — in your work, your health, your relationships.
Or maybe you’re carrying a quieter wondering: a sense that something essential is eluding you, even though life looks “fine” from the outside.
In a culture quick to offer emotional boosts and spiritual soundbites, it’s tempting to reach for inspiration — or resolution. But what if you didn’t need to fix how you feel or try to change yourself via the latest wellness trend?
What if your discomfort was a signpost — not a problem — pointing toward a deeper invitation to an inquiry more fulfilling and sustainable?
How This Program Will Change the Way You Relate to Yourself and the World
This is not a self-help Band-Aid or a spiritual bypass.
It’s a three-part program designed to reorient yourself — not just soothe your symptoms.
Each module meets you where you are — in the particular reorientation called for in these particular times — and invites a deeper, more spacious way of being with inevitable change and uncertainty.
It Begins Where You Are — Not Where You Wish You Were
You don’t need to be any particular way in order to begin this inquiry.
If you’re feeling curious, confused, or quietly longing for something — that’s the threshold.
This journey starts here, now — without trying to rush through — and without wasting any more time avoiding difficult life adjustments or searching for the perfect teacher or teaching.
It Offers Depth Without Dogma
This is not a rehash of popular spiritual platitudes or overly simplified psychological approaches.
It’s an invitation into a mature self-inquiry — rooted in contemplative practice, philosophical rigor, and lived experience.
You won’t be told what to do or believe. You’ll be supported in discovering what feels real and remembering what's true.
It Integrates the Spiritual
and the Human
You won’t suppress or transcend your humanity here.
Instead, you’ll learn to hold the fullness of being human with presence and compassion ... by reorienting your individual life within a specific context.
This is the heart of Selfistry: a path that welcomes paradox, honors emotion, and reconnects you to your one precious life in a way that’s grounded, spacious, and real.

Core Features of
Reorient Your Self
This isn’t a step-by-step program or a one-size-fits-all system.
It’s a guided inquiry into what it means to live truthfully — on your terms, in your timing, and with reliable support.
Flexible Structure, Depth by Design
The series is designed to allow space for your rhythm, while offering a steady arc of inquiry, reflection, and integration that builds over time.
Choose any or all of the modules.
Join live or listen when it works for you — without losing the thread. There’s room here for your life — and your process.
Intelligent, Spacious Facilitation
You won’t be taught what to think — or asked to follow someone else’s map.
You’ll be offered a framework drawn from decades of study, spiritual retreat, and real-life integration. The framework will guide you in your unique re-oreintation process.
The learning unfolds through dialogue, discovery, and presence — not dogma ... with the truth always drawn from your own inner wisdom.
This program won’t include homework or hand you a list of exercises to complete.
Instead, you'll be invited into a deeper relationship with your own inner authority — to explore, discern, and commit to practices that truly serve you.
It’s not about discipline for its own sake — but about discovering what steadies and nourishes your presence in a changing life and a relatively unstable world.

Meet Your Guide
This series is guided by Sarah Marshank, founder of Selfistry — a framework for living with depth, clarity, and presence in an uncertain world.
Sarah brings more than two decades of experience in personal transformation, spiritual inquiry, and embodied practice. Her teachings are rooted in ten years of solo retreat, where she stepped outside of conventional life to ask the hardest questions — and stay with them long enough to find something enduring.
With a graduate degree in philosophy of education, and a life shaped by both radical contemplation and real-world engagement, Sarah offers a rare combination of intellectual rigor, spiritual maturity, and grounded humanity.
She is the author of Selfistry: A Guide to Embodying Timeless Spiritual Wisdom and Redefining Being Selfish: My Journey from Escort to Monk to Me. Her work integrates Eastern and Western traditions, psychology and mysticism, theory and practice — not to offer answers, but to guide you in discovering your own.
Sarah doesn’t offer prescriptions. She offers presence. And from that place, she helps you learn how to live — not perfectly, but truthfully.

Frequently Asked Questions
We know choosing a program like this isn’t a small thing. If you're wondering what to expect, or how this might serve you, the answers below are a good place to start.
This program isn’t another framework to adopt or set of steps to follow. It’s a space to pause, reflect, and reorient — guided by inquiry, not ideology. If you're ready to question even your deepest assumptions, you'll find something real here.
Not at all. The structure is spacious, and you’ll be guided with care. What matters most is that you’re curious, open, and willing to show up honestly — not that you’ve done this before.
No. Each module stands on its own. You can register for a single module or the full series. That said, the full arc is designed as a cohesive journey — and you’ll likely receive the most from participating in all three.
All sessions are recorded and shared with participants within 24 hours. You can engage with the content on your own schedule and still receive the full experience.
You’ll be introduced to a guiding framework and guided prompts, but the goal isn’t to give you a fixed toolkit. Instead, you’ll be invited to discern which practices — if any — support your own way of being.
That’s up to you. Each module includes optional reflection prompts, meditative inquiries, and space for integration. You could spend 15–30 minutes between sessions or dive in more deeply if you're called. There’s no homework — just honest engagement.
It’s neither — and both. Reorienting Your Self is a space for meaningful self-inquiry that draws from psychology, philosophy, and contemplative traditions. It’s not clinical or religious — but it may feel profoundly personal and sacred.
Feel free to reach out. If you’re unsure whether this is the right space for you, send a message through the contact form. Sarah reads each one and, if needed, may offer a short consult to help you discern.
MODULE 1
Wednesdays
June 18 and 25, 2025
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific
Disoriented, Not Broken
Awakening the Inner Observer
We begin where many find themselves today — in transition, uncertainty, or quiet collapse. This module reframes disorientation as a threshold, not a failure. You’ll learn to stay with not-knowing without collapsing or bypassing ... allowing for wonder and curiosity.
Through shared reflection, mindful awareness, and the art of pause, we invite the deeper Witness — the one not defined by confusion — to come forward.
Focus: Liminality, observing presence, letting go of needing to know
Practice: Guided inquiry + breath-based mindfulness practice/meditation
Integration: Reflection and sharing on the definition of mindfulness
MODULE 2
Wednesdays
July 16 and 23, 2025
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific
Who Am I? Who Am I Not?
Embodying the Paradox of Self and No-self
Here, we explore the nature of self — not to arrive at a new, revised, or fixed identity, but to loosen our grip on the one that's already here.
Drawing from Selfistry's integrative frame, you will track how a witnessing presence can hold multiplicity with compassion. From there, you can enact your capacity to simultaneously suspend your identity as you re-orient and expand your experience of selfhood. You’ll begin to experience the self not as the sole focus of your existence, but as one element of a grander life.
Focus: Identity, multiplicity, witness consciousness
Practice: First- and third-person self-reflection and somatic inquiry
Integration: Journaling + group dialogue
MODULE 3
Wednesdays
August 13 and 20, 2025
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific
What Is Real? What Is Sacred?
Where Science and Spirituality Coalesce
We close by turning toward Mystery — not as an idea to understand, but as a presence to be in relationship with.
We’ll explore intellect and awareness as essential teachers ... identifying the nuance and distinction between emotions and intuition, thought and understanding, sensation and wisdom.
What is truth in a diverse and complex world? What is sacred beyond belief or dogma? Together we’ll enter the subtle realm where reverence, discernment, and presence become ways of being.
Focus: Non-dual awareness, sacredness, discernment
Practice: Contemplation, poetic inquiry, devotional attention and prayer
Integration: Collective introspection and optional ritual space
BONUS SESSION
